understanding of the goals, processes and methods
of any fundraising effort is critical to its success.
What are the necessary skill sets? How do you
create appropriate accountability standards? How
does the organization develop synergy between
its board, management and staff? Is everyone on
the same page? The answers, or lack of answers
to these and other questions, will go a long way
to determining the success of your fundraising
effort.
Pathways can provide individual and/or group
training sessions to help each stakeholder better
understand the roles and responsibilities within
the fundraising effort. These can range from informal
coaching/Q&A sessions to more formalized programs,
and can include tax and financial training to
help guide planned gift conversations with prospective
donors.
